Cowen Tipple Cold Brew

Cowen Tipple Cold Brew is a personal nod to my West Virginia roots. I grew up in Webster County, where the history of coal mining is woven into the communities and the people who call the mountains home.

The name honors the coal mines and tipples that helped shape West Virginia. Like the coal pulled from those mountains, this dark French roast is bold, rich, and strong. It is specifically blended and coarsely ground for a smooth, satisfying cold brew that can be enjoyed hot or cold.

It contains no additives or artificial ingredients, just 100% coffee.

Enjoy It Hot or Cold

Make the concentrate: Combine 1 cup of coarse ground coffee with 4 cups of cold filtered water. Stir, cover, and refrigerate for 12 to 18 hours. Strain through a fine mesh strainer lined with a coffee filter. Keep refrigerated for up to 7 days.

Serve cold: Mix equal parts concentrate and cold water or milk, then pour over ice.

Serve hot: Mix equal parts concentrate and hot water or warm milk. Do not boil the concentrate.
